Foundation builds and stewards the open protocols and public infrastructure that Corporation and Labs run on. Think authentication infrastructure, DNS architecture, open-source tooling, and compliance frameworks.
Corporation builds the commercial layer: Passport (federated identity), developer tooling, and the API surface that third parties build on. Products need to be polished, secure, and developer-friendly.
Labs does the long-range work — applied research in decentralized systems, human-computer interaction, and tooling for next-generation development environments. Publish real work. Solve real problems.
